Archie A Bradeen Sr

Date of Death: November 29, 2024

Date of Birth: June 24, 1951

Biography:

Archie A. Bradeen Sr., 73, passed away on November 29, 2024 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born on June 24, 1951 to loving parents Donald and Lillian Bradeen. He had a variety of occupations before going to work in the Rumford Paper Mill in 1982. He retired after 32 years. He experienced tragedies in his life but never lost his terrific outlook.

A man of many talents he took pride in all he did; from gardening, carpentry, cooking, and to his greatest passion: creating and repairing anything mechanical. An avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting, and just exploring the woods oh his wheeler.

He had a deep and abiding love for his family especially his three sons. He never hesitated to "run to the rescue" of those in need. His home, his hands, his heart were all open with room to spare. He will be sorely missed.

Survivors include his wife Virginia, sons; Thomas and Adam; stepsons Patrick Harkness, Casey, and Joshua Campbell; brothers Veldessor and Donald Bradeen, a sister Donna Berry, 15 grandchildren and two great grandsons.

He was predeceased by his son, Archie Jr, grandson Aiden Johnson, three brothers: Everett Sherman and Clifford Gordon; and a sister Bernice Bradeen.

A Service will be held in his honor at the United Baptist Church at 98 Main St in Peru on Saturday December 14th at 1:30PM.
