Biography:

Michael K. Brackett, 65 of Wells, passed away on August 4, 2019 at

Togus Springs Hospice Center in Augusta, Maine. He was born in York on February 5, 1954, a son of the late William Sr., and Mary (Danahy) Brackett. He attended Wells High School and entered the US Navy in 1973 and served until 1976, during the Vietnam War.

 After the service he worked several different jobs, mostly construction. Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting, working with his hands, listening to music, watching old TV westerns and sitcoms and hanging out with his friends.

He is predeceased by two brothers, Donald Brackett and Philip Brackett and one sister Donna Johnson.

 Michael is survived by his siblings, Rosalie Cunningham and her husband Marvin of Pa, William “Bill” Brackett of Wells, Stephen Brackett of Wells, Gerald “Jack” Brackett of Wells, Brian Brackett of Wells, Christine Carbon and her husband Andy of Sanford and several nieces and nephews.

He will be laid to rest at the Ocean View Cemetery in Wells.
