Biography:

FREEPORT - Louise A. Bailey, 83, of Freeport, ME, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2015.  She was born Jan. 10, 1932 in Cumberland, ME to Wilbur & Lucretia Buxton.

Louise loved animals, flowers and to clean. She especially loved having her grandchildren & great grandchildren over to give them candy and cookies, making sure to have their favorites on hand.

She began her career as a CNA in the 1960's. Throughout her career she worked at Lynn Hospital in Lynn, MA, Brighton Medical in Portland, ME and Freeport Nursing Home up until her retirement.

She was predeceased by her parents, brothers Warren & Donald and sister Vera Foley, daughter Marie Hynes, and son Leroy Day.

She leaves behind her husband and soulmate of 61 yrs, Martin Bailey of Freeport; daughter, Gale Garlick of Freeport; grandchildren, Kimberly Garlick, Kelly Garlick and her significant other Travis Johnson & Michaela Garlick and her significant other Colby Thompson all of Freeport; Shawnette Day Colon, Tammie Day, Beverleigh Hynes, Crystal Hynes, Henry Senecal & Debbie Frascone all from Lynn, MA; fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by all.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 2pm at Burr Cemetery in Freeport.
