I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Joe's passing. I have many fond memories of my family's trips to Maine in my youth. My sincere condolences to you all.
Cousin Richard.

So long, Joe. What a treasure the world’ lost. I’ll miss your radio-announcer voice, the wonderful laugh, the magical aesthetic eye and so much more. I’ll miss, too, the partnership you and Nan had ( of which she’ll have great memories), and even the giggles we had on the golf course. With sadness, but joy for having you in my life, Dick Rosenthal

Nan, In learning this morning of Joe's passing, we were recalling what a special morning we spent with you and Joe not all that long ago. We feel very lucky to have had that and sorry it can't be repeated. You have our deepest sympathies.

Dear Nan and Family,
As a long time Arrowsic resident and Realtor I have had the please to see many homes that Joe designed including the beautiful home and studio you had in Arrowsic. Clients always commended his work and style.
Just last June I was in West Bath showing a property on your road and saw Joe while out walking your dog with a warm smile on his face and a hello.
Sending you our heartfelt sympathies.
Take care and hope you find comfort from others during this difficult time.
