Dear Roux Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Flo's passing. I was away on vacation and missed the obituary until this morning, and would have loved to have come to the funeral to pay my respects. Flo and John were my neighbors growing up, and checked in on my mom many times after my dad passed away. They were the nicest neighbors anyone could ask for. I have fond memories of the family, along with Mike and Denise, coming over to swim at the house many times during the summer. They always were generous with their time and talents -- often giving us vegetables from their garden, and taking me many times with them on trips to the beach and elsewhere almost as a member of their family.

Today, as I have my own family and home, I often guage how well I treat my neighbors using the Roux litmus test, trying to emulate their kindness toward my neighbors and make them feel welcome. I usually fall far short of the Roux' grace. I miss them both. May they rest in God's warmth and glow for eternity.

Aunt Flo was a very special lady and always the life of the party. We have such fond memories of her visit with Uncle John to our home in Rhode Island.

We will cherish the memories.

To the family of Flo. We wish to send you our sincere condolences on your loss. It is comforting to know that she is with John again. Roger enjoyed working with her and she was always very kind to me as well. We will remember the fun times at the Hannaford Christmas parties and seeing them both at the balloon festival most every year. This year they will both have the best view ever. We will be out of town this week but know that you will all be in our thoughts and prayers. May the beautiful memories you all shared with Flo live forever.
