I was saddened to read of Kolleen's passing. She was a very ambitious woman. She formed the first longarm machine quilters group in order to bring other longarm quilter together to share tips articles and techniques. That group is still together as Maine Machine Quilters.
She will be missed.

Brian, I now I'm new to your world but I remember Koleen from her past when she was a employee at Welding Supply in PI. Even through I wasn't at the time, she was always very pleasant to myself and my wife when I did return home on visits. Words cannot express what your going thru but My wife and Myself want to express our thoughts and prayers to you and family during your sadden time.

I had the pleasure of working with side by side with Koleen for a few years. I have to say she had the greatest work ethic and dedication I've ever seen. I also had the opportunity to know her and Brian personally and they were a great couple who loved working on their home together. My fondest memory is from a work related trip with Koleen to Montana during 9/11. We were stranded for a few days due to circumstances
and we made the best of it exploring with others the beautiful scenery that Montana has to offer. Koleen was a fighter for many years but is finally at peace and rest. She will be missed by all.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I used to enjoy running into Koleen at quilt shows and will miss our conversations. Koleen was not onky an amazing Quilter, but also a kind and loving person. She will be missed.
