Dear Family of Steve,
It has been so many years since I last saw Steve. You kids were very young at the time and my brother, Shaun, and I were not very old ourselves. My Dad, Jerry Quimby, went to school with Steve and Steve was the Best Man at my parents’ wedding. We were all very sad and surprised to just recently learn of Steve’s passing. You’ve lost your husband, father, and grandfather way too soon. We hope you have many fond memories that have helped you get through the difficult days that have passed and all those that lie ahead.

It's been years since I'd even seen Stephen but he was a classmate in gradeschool. A great guy, as I recall. Am sure he will be sadly missed.

Worked with Steve for many years at 240 Engineer Group and at United States Property and Fiscal Office, Maine Army National Guard. He was a wonderful friend; smart, hard worker, great sense of humor, big heart, loyal, and loved his country that he served so well. Cindy and family - so very, very sorry for your loss.

Dear Cindy,
I am so sad to hear of your loss. Steve was a good guy and tennis player.
As Irma wrote, you have been in our thoughts and know that you have support from your tennis buddies.
We look forward to your return to the courts.
In my experience, we never quite get over our losses, we just learn to live with them.
Take care of yourself.
Hugs, Jill

Steve so impressed me with his kindness, humbleness, and intelligence. So glad to have known him years ago as a student, and more recently as an talented tennis player. My prayers and love go out to you and your family. Jan
