Will so miss Griff as a next door neighbor and as major member of our Holly Street gang. He always made me smile, laugh, have a another drink, and wonder where the hell that Joey was as he called out for her from his back porch. Will so miss his calls for that Joey.

My thoughts are with this special family during this tender time. I enjoyed socializing with Griff and Joanna at family gatherings and the "Y". There was always a lively discussion on tap, and a twinkle in the eye that gave away the pleasure that differences of opinion made. I will miss you, Griff.

We met Griff through Joanna (my classmate at Northampton School for Girls) at a class reunion about 10 years ago, and I wish we had met him much earlier so we could have had more time with him. He was a great friend and we will miss him terribly Our hearts go out to Joanna. Pat & Roger

I am so happy that Ina shared this obit with me. I had not heard from or contacted Uncle Griff and Joanna in over 40 years.
My first memory when I think of Griff and Joey is them laughing, laughing with their whole bodies, till they couldn't breathe and doing it a lot whenever my family was around them.
What a great tribute to a man who lived a full life. I am sincerely sorry for Joey and the whole family.

Our deepest condolences to our YMCA friend Joanna, and the family of Griff. It saddened us to see one of the Y family had past. He will be missed, may he RIP.
