I will always remember Howard. He was such a good friend and neighbor and was never too busy to lend a hand when needed. He will be missed by one and all. My condolances go to Debbie and the entire family. Such sad news.

To all of Howard's family, our sincerest condolences. There are few words that could describe Howard, but among them are sincerity, kindness, gracious, giving, and honest. Howard was ALWAYS there whenever anyone needed help, whether with a project or spiritually. Among the many things we'll miss about Howard would be his wry, on-topic dry, subtle sense of humor. My wife Jan and I met Howard earlier this year in response to a classified ad in Uncle Henry's for a cordwood saw.
Howard was very personable and honest when we asked him questions about the saw. It was immediately obvious to us that we were dealing with an honest and sincere person.
He informed us that he was asking a fair price and probably would not take any less. We happily paid him the asking price and have gotten much use out of the saw.
His parting words to us were "Please be careful because this is a pretty dangerous tool that requires skill to use and I wouldn't let your wife use it!"
It was truly a pleasure to me Howard and we offer our sincerest condolences to his family during these difficult times.

I don't think words could ever express how very much Howard was loved and how very much he will be missed. He was an inspiration to us all and usually in very different ways.
