Sincere condolences to all Richards family. I worked with him for many years. He was always pleasant and fun to work with as well as a kind, caring caregiver.
He certainly will be missed by all.
God Bless.

I have fond memories of working shoulder to shoulder with Richard at AMHI. He was a person who would not give up on patients, no matter how complicated or difficult the situation might be. RIP Richard. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Richard and I went back many years to the time we both worked at AMHI. We continued to stay in touch, more recently at breakfast gatherings with other Maine miscreants. I enjoyed his look at life and his sense of humor. I'll miss him greatly.

In his profession@ AMHI, Richard was a sincere and compassionate social worker, sensitive to the needs of the mentally ill and going the extra mile in providing services to clients. May he rest in peace.

I am sure I am not alone saying that I have only fond memories of “Rick’s dad”.
He was always kind and patient. He took time to get to know and to listen to young, silly children, to adolescents who needed a caring adult and adults who knew that he would be a great guy to talk to. He genuinely knew how to make others feel special, and of course these are some of the reasons that he was special.
He taught me to be patient with others and he helped me see good in everyone.
He will be missed, but I know that the lessons he taught me were lessons that he taught to many others. I know his kindness will live on in the many, many people whose lives he touched.
