Mike was my fathers, Roger Fortin, friend when they grew up in new auburn. I got to know him while visiting my dad at woodlands. He was one of the bright lights in the whole place. He was extremely kind and friendly. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I will never forget the day my dad died. Mike came and laid his hand on my dads face to say goodbye. It was both extremely sad and beautiful. He was a very lucky man to have his daughters taking such good care of him.

Dear Celine, Lori-Ann and Gagnon family
So sorry for your loss. Your father was a kind, hardworking and respected man. All who knew him loved him. Glad I got to know your mom and dad when we worked at DYP. God bless you and comfort you in your loss.

Beauty lies in the life that one has lived but a greater beauty is the hope we have in God’s promises. So with hearts filled with sadness may we remember Mike as that smiling light and shining example of caring that touched the lives of so many and was much appreciated by all. He will long be remembered, not only by family and friends but also by God who extends His wonderful promises to all. John 5:28,29; Psalm 37:11, 29 So sorry for your loss.
