January 23, 2024 | A. Thomas Brault - Fairport, New York -- USA

I met Tootsie at my wedding to her cousin and one of her best friends Nancy Ouellette in 1960 We regularly traveled back and forth between Hurley Island in Maine and our Lake House at Canandaigua, NY. Each one of these trips was always special but one of the most significant factor was Tootie's pleasant outlook on everything. I don't recall hearing a single complaint from her. She also was a master at telling stories. Her sharings were so complete and detailed it was as if we were there with them. I will always cherish my memories of Tootsie.

January 21, 2024 | Madelyn Given - Poland, Maine -- United States

I am saddened to lose a dear and faithful friend but know Marilyn will be happy in Heaven leading a joyful life. She so loved her family and recently welcomed her youngest great grand child with open arms. We shared a friendship in church, school, community and family celebrations. She was a bright light for all who knew her. She will be sadly missed.

January 20, 2024 | Mamie Anthoine Ney - Kennebunk, ME -- United States

My most sincere sympathies. Yes, Heaven did gain a most special angel. It is always tough to see another St. Pat's parishoner leave.
At least we have very special memories to sustain us. Take comfort in each other and your memories.

January 19, 2024 | Nancy P Bartley - Auburn, ME -- United States

I have known Tootsie since high school. Being one class behind her, we did not run in the same circles, but always admired her. Only after we both were married did we start socializing through a mutual friend. I remember walking our babies together with our carriages in Lewiston. Once we both started working, we lost track of one another until we started seeing her eating at a local hangout after retirement. Our friendship was again rekindled. She was a friend to all she met.

January 19, 2024 | John Wood - Turner, Maine -- USA

Gary, Brenda, David and families, so sorry to read of Marilyn’s passing. Please accept of sympathies and condolences and prayers for your family. May the God of Heaven and earth hold you all in the palm of His hands.
