Bill was my friend for over thirty years, though the for last 25 we spoke often only over the phone. My image of him therefore is and will always be of a robust, good -hearted, and amiable fountain of energy and cheer. I will miss him.

Bill Bentley was a dear friend of mine for nearly 15 years. We met during my time in the military while traveling on frequent duty deployments to the great state of Maine. "Bill" is a kind and generous soul who would give the very shirt off his back to help someone in need. He was the hardest working handyman, up at the crack of dawn, doing odd jobs for everyone in town. Love to cook (going to miss his home made strawberry pies), ice fishing, and his "Red Corvette". He is now with the love of his life (His beloved Jean). Rest in peace my dear friend. You will be greatly missed..... NHKJR
