Dear John,Christopher, Peter and Paul,
I often think of the days I spent in your home on the hill with Margaret where she shared her joy, commitment to those in need, her wonderful soul and of course the cookies.
Those days helped me through my teenage years in prep school. And then of course visiting in Popham. May her memory be a joy to you always. Debra joins me in extending our condolences. With love, Dean

I have been thinking of Margaret a lot lately, as we used to say that we needed a good scandal to give us time and space to do crafts. I'm sorry to learn that she and I cannot compare our projects, and I send my deepest love to John and everyone else whose life she touched.

We miss her lovely smile, and the simple faithful love you two always showed for each other. Much love to you, John.

Dear Dean Beaven,
I am a parishioner of St. Luke's and became a member of the choir two years before you left St. Luke's. I have a lot of good memories of you and your wife. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Sincerely, Suezan

Dear John,
I'm so sorry to read of Margaret's passing. I can't imagine how sad you and all of your family must be. What a loving and joyful presence she had! Margaret spread her warmth wherever she went. You and she have been such wonderful friends to my family. Sanny and I can't thank you enough! Popham misses you too!
Sending love and a prayer for God's comfort in such profound loss.
Jane Burke
