Biography:

Joseph L. Graf Sr.--Auburn--Joseph L. Graf Sr., 88, died Dec 10, 2025 at Andwell House in Auburn. He was born July 4, 1937 a son of Joseph Patrick Graf and Delores Pierce. He served in the U.S. Navy and then was employed in the Sheetmetal and HVAC industry for many years, including with Hamilton and Sons , Portland Air Conditioning, Holden Company, Central Maine Sheet Metal and most importantly McCann Fabrication from which he retired. Joseph was also a Boy Scout Leader and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He was an accomplished swimmer and baseball player in his youth. He coached his sons little league teams and attended his grandchildren sporting events, concerts, rehearsals, until failing health no longer allowed him to do that. Joseph enjoyed fishing, boating and most of all being with his family . He was predeceased by his parents, sister, Beverly and brother Frank. Survivors include his wife Joyce of 67 years, his children and their spouses: Susan (John), Lee, Jack, Michael, Michelle (Ryan), Amy (Dennis). Grandchildren: Justin, Nathan, Danielle, Maegen, Chelsey, Cameron, Hailey, Keaton, Lexie, Maddy, Michael and Nicholas. Great Grandchildren: Austin, Tiana, Yannis, Kamanni, Ella, Kyro, Makenzie, Rylee, Mason and Elijah. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Saturday, December 20 at 11 a.m. At St. Mary's Church in Bath. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to one's Local Food Pantry.
