Biography:

LEWISTON – Fernande I. Mathieu, 91, of Lewiston, died Monday, June 5, 2023 at Clover Manor, Auburn.
She was born in Lewiston the daughter of Gerard and Leanne Beaudoin on January 26, 1932.
She worked in the shoe industry for over 30 years, retiring in 1992. She enjoyed going with her husband to casino's, watching their sons play hockey, Red Sox, a huge fan of the Boston Bruins and Maniacs.
Fernande was predeceased by her husband Roland Mathieu and brother Fernand Beaudoin. She is survived by her son's Daniel Mathieu and wife Debra of Gray, Donald Mathieu of Lewiston and Mathew Martin her adopted son. 3 Grandchildren, Derek & Wife Jennifer Mathieu of Windham, Evan & Kate Carlson of Casco, Ryan Brissette and Fiance Angela of Poland and 6 loving Great-Grandchildren, Emma, Grace, Sophie, Hunter, Tyler & Nataly.

Per her request, there will be no services. A Liturgy of the Word will be held in the large mausoleum at St. Peters Cemetery in Lewiston, ME on Thursday June 15th, 2023 at 11am. Arrangements are under the care of Funeral Alternatives 25 Tampa St. Lewiston, ME.
