Biography:

Elsie May Johnson, 70, of Standish passed away on Aug. 7^th, 2014 in Auburn.

She was born in Detroit MI on Nov. 15^th, 1943 to parents Walter A. and Marjorie M. (Flint) Johnson.

Elsie enjoyed raising her dogs.

She was a member of Eastern Star of Maine, Pine Cone Chapter 26 in Auburn, Maine.

She worked as an assistant at Honeywell Corp., and worked as an administrator in Cardiac Care at Mass. General Hospital in Boston, from where she retired.

Elsie was predeceased by her parents, and a daughter, Tracy M. (Kievenaar) Cardinale.

She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine M. (Burke) Sinclair and her husband, Robert of Sanford, ME; grandsons Brendon W. and Jack A. Cardinale of Hartford VT.; granddaughter Jessie May Sousa of Lowell, MA.; uncle Iver Johnson; former sons-in-law Brian Cardinale and Stephen Sousa; and many cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Auburn Masonic Temple,1021 Turner St. Auburn Maineon August 30^th, at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or visit www.cancer.org
