Biography:

Jean A. Brown, 83, of Scarborough, passed away on June 7, 2023. She was born on May 7, 1940, in Portland, Maine to the late Everett and Ernestine Dunham. Jean was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many.

Jean graduated from Portland Schools and went on to have a successful career. She spent 27 years working at Fairchilds National Semiconductor before moving on to work at Holiday Inn by the Bay.

In addition to her successful career, Jean also had a loving family. She is survived by her children, Ray and his wife Amy of Raymond, Marie and husband Philip of Sebago, and Thomas of Portland. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Alexis, Cassie, Alyssa, Joe, and Owen, and two great-grandchildren, Madison and Cole. Jean was preceded in death by her siblings Carol and Robert.

Jean will be remembered for her kindness and dedication to her family and career. Her legacy will continue to live on through the memories shared by those who knew and loved her.
