Toni was a neighbor of mine when she lived in Loveland. We spent many hours together talking about just about everything you could imagine. She was intellectually very curious and also was a voracious reader. When she was in her late 80's and computers were beginning to be popular, she asked me if I would help her learn how to use a computer. She could tell that having a computer and access to the internet was going to change the world. She said, "I just don't want to miss out on anything so important". She bought a computer and we set out to get her literate. Before she moved to be closer to her daughter, she could send and retrieve email and access the internet. She loved being able to search for anything in which she was interested. She was thrilled beyond belief to have the libraries of the world at her fingertips. Technology and all things mechanical were frustrating to Toni, but she was tenacious and would never give up. We often talked of her belief in reincarnation. She wondered and would speculate who or where she might be in her next life. Although I will miss her dearly, I am sure that I will meet her again in my everyday life. She is the subject of many humorous stories about experiences I had with her. She was a huge inspiration to me and I loved her very much and will cherish my memories of her forever.

I really enjoyed knowing Toni from the time I first met her at a senior citizen's lunch, through her ideas and inspiration at Tuesday Gals to her 100th birthday celebration! She was a classy lady. I will miss her also.
