We were lucky to know Paul over many years that have passed too quickly. When John first met him as a friend of Pete’s in college, “Mr. Weyand” was a big, strong guy of few words. He didn’t say much, but you knew what his expectations were. Monika’s first impressions were also that of a firm personality, one that brought a sense of stability into any room he entered. She will always remember the kind, wise smile on Paul’s face, putting his hand on our daughters’ heads in a way that made one feel like everything will be just fine – no matter how many things we worried about as new parents. He could be a real softie with the youngsters, and always made us feel like family. Mr. Weyand will always have a special place in our hearts.

Our condolences to all the Weyand family. We have fond memories of our good neighbors on Pineloch Drive. Specially remember Paul when he assisted in transporting our Karen to
the hospital after she fell through the glass and received a gash in her head.... we are forever thankful for Paul at that particular time. Both Mark and Karen also express their sorrow and wish the Weyand family nothing but fond memories of their Dad.. Our very best to all Dick & Gloria
