Ernie was one of the most kindest easygoing souls I have ever had the great fortune to know. He didn't judge people, he always had a beautiful smile on his face, he was a great listener and he so loved his children, who loved him dearly right back. I am so lucky to have met him and to have known him even for such a short time. I loved hearing his voice, it was so comforting and so encouraging. Fly high Ernie, I know you can!! I love you!

Dear Sue and Steve,
I was saddened to learn of your Dad’s passing in the paper this morning. I will always have fond memories of Mr. St. Jean from my childhood, at Allen Pond. He would always greet me with his warm smile and an honest “good morning”. I remember the times during our summers together when he would fill his little Datsun wagon with the whole gang to see a movie at the drive-in.
I would, on a couple of rare occasions, run into him around town; he would always stop whatever he was doing to eagerly catch up on all the news from everyone at the pond. And he would proudly tell me all about the two of you.
I’m sorry for your loss and my thoughts are with you, and your entire family.
