April 6, 2020 | Susan & Cliff Hardison - Durham, Maine -- United States
Bunny,
Cliff, kids, and I are so saddened to hear about Rich's passing. We have many fond memories of talks and walks with his beloved black labs, Abby and Callie. We enjoyed hearing about his travels and visits with family. Amber enjoyed conversing about people they both knew in the justice system. Mathew remembers how Rich always had a smile and stopped to talk while he waited at the bus stop. Rich holds a place in all of our hearts and we feel blessed to have known such a kind and caring person. We will miss him. Our thoughts and love to you and your family.
March 29, 2020 | Jim MacKenzie - New Harbor, ME -- United States
Bunny - I was saddened to read of Rich's passing on one of the Customs pages on Facebook. I thought very highly of him when I worked at Highgate Springs many years ago - he was very knowledgeable and cooperative with our branch, and always focused on the mission. I wish I had known that you had relocated to Maine; we're not too far up the coast in New Harbor. Our sincere condolences to you and your family.
March 23, 2020 | John P. Connelly - Rochester, New York -- USA
Bunny, Dawn, Erin & Family:
I worked with Rich back in 1970-71 at 201 Varick Street, New Yor, N.Y. as "brand new" U.S. Customs Agents.
Rich was a great guy and a good Agent.
May he rest in peace!

Bunny, Claudia and I are so very sad to learn of Rich's passing. I remember fondly meeting him on walks thru the neighborhood with our poodles and his black labs, both Callie as a pup and her predecessor. I remember how Rich looked forward to fishing with Camden, and I hope they spent some wonderful times together. We send you and your family our sympathies. May he rest in peace and may you find solace in having shared your life with such a fine man.
