Mrs Rand was my second grade teacher at Sherwood Heights (1971). So sorry to read of her passing on the "Growing up in Auburn, Maine" site. I would bump into her now and again, at Valtone. My condolences for your loss. She was a very nice lady and teacher.

I had the pleasure of sharing many moments with her through our work in the United Methodist Women--she from Lewiston and me from Auburn.
I enjoyed knowing her and know she will be missed.
