To John's family,
So sorry to hear of your loss.
I remember working with John at Doris Sidwell Hall at Pineland Center. He had a great sense of humor and always had stories to tell us.
I like the picture you have posted of him.I remember him a tad bit older. Enjoyed working with him. May he Rest In Peace.

Dearest Dad,
My heart is heavy, my world is crushed.
Gone are the days we worked side by side in the barn, fixing fences, weeding the garden. The fruit trees, the brick oven/wood stove, your passion for farming that you passed on to me. The facinating story's, the endless support and love. The advice I needed. The wonderful gift of a piece of our homestead. I am a better person having such loving parents and an abundance of family you and mom created together. You two will be forever in my heart. You and mom will walk beside where ever I go. I love you mom and dad and miss you both every minute of every day.

Rarely do I find myself at a loss for words, but what do you say when you lose someone who meant so much too so many? I will miss you dearly Grampa. It seems like all my fondest childhood memories are those that took place out at what would come to be known simply as, "The Hill". From the early days eating Teddie peanut butter and playing in the barn, to the long conversations about the good ol' days of the Footwear industry and random late night calls razzing me about the Packers losing. You were the smartest person I have ever met, and I will always be proud to call myself your grandson.
“…Always remember, there is nothing worth sharing, like the love that let us share our name…”
