My old friend Dick has been much on my mind these past couple of weeks since he left us....Actually have been feeling a little lost without my frequent visits. A dear old buddy from the 7th grade, we sort of lost track of each other as adults, but rekindled our friendship in "old age". It was as though we hadn't been more than a week or two out of each other's company. It is a blessing to me that we were able to spend as much time together as we did these past few years...Since I know how much I've been missing him, I can't imagine the emptiness you kids and grandkids must be feeling...My heart aches for you, for what that's worth. We all lost a heck of a guy...
