May 25, 2010 | Gail Brooke - Whitefield, Maine -- USA

Words cannot express enough for me. From sixth grade on, we were friends. We reconnected in the early 80's and have been connected ever since. I will miss our once a month "girls night out" at the Ollie G (as Jill called it),with her and Judy. We have been at each others sides through the worst times and had more fun than is probably legal many times. Laughing with Jill will be my life time memory, we both would want it that way. I hold her family close to my heart, next to the place Jill will be forever.

I knew Jill as a classmate. Even at 5 years old she was fun, lively and people were drawn to her. We met up again in high and she still was the funny charming one of a kind girl...long red hair, big smile and infectious giggle. The pain she must've endured from cancer is over now. Rest, old friend, enjoy the bounty of heaven and feel no guilt...your loved ones miss you but they woudn't want that sign of pain to cross your face ever again. And Jill, do me a favor? Tell my mom that I am okay? Love you, Jill, my colences to your grieving family.

May 20, 2010 | Nina & Ryan Eschman - Pownal, Maine -- USA

Ryan and I wish to extend our deepest sympathy during this time to all family members. Jill was one of the most kindest, caring, and a great person that I have had the privilege to have known. She was the best day care provider that Pownal ever had! I personally will never foget all the great times Ryan had at the day care and will always remember that he and Kate were suppose to marry each other.

Take Care

Nina and Ryan Eschman

My deepest sorrow and condolences are with you and your family on the loss of your beloved Jill. She was a good friend although I didn't see her often. Always vibrant, full of life, and caring of everyone around her. People like Jill are a rarity and very special. They don't come very often and are deeply missed when they leave. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Jill was a wonderful woman. She touched many lives. She did some wonderful work with many people. She always had a smile and a kind word, was full of encouragement and belief in others. I enjoyed her love for live, her wit and humor, and her "happy dance".

May 18, 2010 | Suzanne - Lewiston, Maine -- USA

Jill was such a fun person to be around. She had such a quick wit which amazed me. She was also very compassionate and very dedicated to being a good therapist. I feel privileged to have worked with her. She was a beautiful human being. I will never forget her.

May 18, 2010 | Joan (Ellen) Greenleaf - Standish, Maine -- Cumberland

Even though Jill and I did not keep in touch after graduation, I have thought of her throughout the years and always enjoyed seeing her at reunions. I have many happy memories of Jill and I playing together at the house on Vernon Street, and later at the house on Middle Intervale Road ( I was so happy the family moved closer to where I lived) and riding bikes when we were in grammar school (as it was called then). I remember when Kelly was born how happy Jill was to have a baby sister. I always remember her smiling and "bouncy." I have no doubt that she was a bright spot in the lives of her family, friends, and clients. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

Beautiful, wonderful, one-in-a-million Jill. I am thinking of all of you and praying several times a day - that God hold you in His hands and ease the pain until we share Jill's light again. Such a wonderful family and so much joy you bring each other. I am glad you have each other during this painful time.

See you soon.

Wow, I knew it was coming but I didn't know how I would feel when I was finally told "Our dear classmate and friend Jill died after her very courageous battle with cancer." Well I feel so sad for the loss of a beautiful person with an infectious laugh, smile and bright red hair. She was the "spark" at all of our Telstar Class of 1973 Reunions. I know I speak for many classmates when I say ,"Reunions just won't be the same without her!" My thoughts and prayers are extended to her family.

Uncle Albert & girls...so sorry to hear of Jill's passing. The few times we saw Jill, she was always happy and kind, and I hear from Mandy that she was so good to her extended (Stimpson) family. We are praying for you all during this time.
