Mick was a good and valued high school friend with whom I had the good fortune to reconnect during these last few years. We will miss her intelligent, good-humored, generous spirit and remember her life well-lived.

Mickey never changed from a teenager. She certainly mentored me and took me under her wing when I was quite lost having just moved to Salem. Mickey made my high school years fun, she and her family made it an adventure as only the McGeorge's can do, and over the years Mickey and I kept in touch and had a few short visits. Reuniting with her at our 50th HS Reunion in 2009 was magic. It also gave me the opportunity to meet Doug, and see how happy and comfortable she was with him. Mickey kept me up on the visits by her wonderful sons and brothers and sister. I know all of you will miss her, but the farewell birthday party you gave her was the coolest thing I've heard of. So my thoughts are with all of you as you celebrate Mickey's life. Pat
