Biography:

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Timothy Leroy Swan Sr. on January 31, 2026.

Timothy was born July 5, 1954 in Dexter, Maine. He was the oldest child of Helen and William Swan. Timothy grew up in Londonderry, New Hampshire and graduated high school from Pinkerton Academy. In 1973 he met the love of his life, Joddi, and they married in 1976. Timothy pursued a career as a machinist and owned/operated several small machine shops over the years. He had many hobbies that included camping, fishing, and antiquing but his biggest passion was spending quality time with his family.

Timothy was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Swan; his father, William Swan; and his two siblings Shelley Frisella and William (Billy) Swan. Timothy is survived by his wife, Joddi Swan; his five children, Timothy Swan Jr., Shanna Swan, Sierra Warren and husband Mathew, Helen Parker and husband Jack Jr., and Victoria Bennett and husband Zachary; his seven grandchildren, Joshua Warren, Zeke Polley, Makayla Warren, Joseph Kresge, Gavin Kresge, Anthony Parker, and Callum Bennett; his honorary children Conrad and Kimberly Verrinder; and his five siblings, Glen Swan, Sue Hodges, Doris Pittman, Helene Powell, and Pauline Harris.

Timothy will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering integrity, and love for his family. His laughter and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew him.

A celebration of life to honor the memory of Timothy will be held in the spring. All are welcome to attend.
