Biography:

Linda Richardson passed away peacefully on June 2nd 2025 with her family by her side. Born on June 6th 1942 in Weymouth, Mass to the late Walter and Carolyn Litchfield. She graduated from Weymouth high school. She spent summers on the Morril Farm in Sumner Maine where she met the love of her life Donald Richardson Jr. They married on September 3rd 1960. They settled in Sumner on the Greenwoods Rd.  where they started a family. In addition to their 2 sons they fostered well over 200 children over 45 yrs. While doing so she was a founding member of the Tri Town Rescue where she was an EMT. Was very active in the 4H organization for many years. Part of the mothers club, and also the Sumner firemans auxilary. She loved camping at Aziscohos with friends and family. Also trips to the casinos and scratch tickets were great fun for her. Always maintained a strong connection with her large family as she was the only daughter among 5 brothers. She is survived by her husband Donald, Son Dan and his wife Tammie. Grandson Travis. And great grandchildren Chase, Parker, and Madelyn. Daughter in law Kathy and her family in which she loved dearly. Brother Walter Litchfield and many family members. She was predeceased by her son Donald, and her brothers Larry, Allan, Wayne, and Kevin. At her request there will be no services.
