Biography:
Elaine (Parkman) Richardson, 72, died Wednesday November 17th in Auburn with her son Richard by her side.
Born in Portland December 20, 1937 she was the daughter of Glenn and Catherine (Larose) Parkman and was educated in Portland schools.
Elaine loved animals, and worked at Elaines Dog Grooming, a business she owned for 30 years.
She also enjoyed traveling around the country in her RV, and documenting the places she had been. She was an avid fisherman, and went deep sea fishing in the Florida keys when she visited her sister in Florida. She also enjoyed her trips to Hawaii She also enjoyed camping and hunting, and was an artist. She composed beautiful paintings of nature, and wildlife, and also enjoyed painting landscapes.
She is survived by a sister Eleanor Pride of Springhill Florida, her children Richard Sprague of Minot, Karen Gomez of California, and Pam Hesketh of Auburn, and six grandchildren Jennifer Sprague, Christine Sprague, Lisa Langlois, Tina Langlois, Angelique Gomez, and Jeff Hesketh.
She was predeceased by her parents, Glenn and Catherine (Larose) Parkman, and her beloved dog, Miko.
The family would also like to give a special thank-you to all the staff at Clover Manor, who cared for Elaine at her time of need.
Per Elaine's request, there wil not be any services.
