Biography:

William E. Redmun Jr, 70, of Auburn, Maine passed away at home Saturday July 5, 2025 with family by his side. Bill was born March 21, 1955 in Lewiston, Maine. The son of William E. Redmun Sr and his mother Marilyn Redmun. Bill grew up in Danville, Maine. 

He was educated in Auburn schools. Bill graduated from Edward Little High School in 1974. Bill played football at Walton Junior High School and ELHS. He was an All-State player, wearing his Uncle Warren's number 85. Bill worked at Panolam Industries for 47 years before retiring. 

In his later years, William dedicated his life to his greatest love, family. Frequently hosting or attending holiday meals, attending graduations of his grandkids, or away watching hundreds of sporting events. Barring all elements to watch in his famous orange rain suit. Even in his toughest years, William would spend his time watching his grandson coach football home games and practices from his hospital window overlooking Lewiston Middle School. William had a profound love for the little things in life. His cats, his John Deere Tractors, time with his family, Old Westerns, and of course Nascar.

Bill is survived by his significant other, Lise Beaudry, his son William E. Redmun III, his grandchildren, Austin Redmun and Emily Redmun, his brothers Brian (Dale) Redmun, Scott (Kim) Redmun, his sister Sharon (Charlie) Albiston, Aunt Joyce MacDonald, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved cat Noel. 

Bill was predeceased by his parents, Randall Redmun, Stephen Pessant, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his beloved cat Frosty. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Bill to The Maine Transplant Program 43 Baxter Blvd Portland, ME 04101.

There will be visitation on Saturday July 26 from 11-1 PM with a service to follow at 1 PM at Funeral Alternatives 25 Tampa Street Lewiston, ME 04240.
