Ryleigh Anne Louise Rand

Date of Death: February 1, 2026

Date of Birth: November 21, 2008

Biography:

With heavy hearts, we announce that Ryleigh Anne Louise Rand, 17, beloved daughter of Adam and Brandie Rand of Monmouth, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 1, 2026.

Ryleigh bravely fought a long, often unseen, and courageous battle with depression and mental illness. She was deeply loved and will be forever remembered for the light she brought into the lives of those around her.

Ryleigh enjoyed camping with her family at The Birches Campground, singing karaoke with her sisters and cousins, tanning at the beach or by the pool, always with an Aromas drink in hand. Ryleigh never turned down the chance to fish or go on a frog catching adventure with her brothers. She loved skiing ,cooking sessions and going on breakfast dates with her dad.

She treasured board games in the living room, flowers, Elvis Presley, matching outfits with her sister Delia, and her Daisy Marc Jacobs perfume. Sundays meant church, followed by competitive football or wiffle ball games in the front yard, and many nights ended with late-night movies surrounded by those she loved most.

Ryleigh not only enjoyed playing basketball, but truly adored her coaches, Keith, Elaine, and Holly. She could often be found beside her mom, cheering on her siblings and other athletes throughout her community. The annual school shopping trip and Christmas celebrations at her Grammy's were among her favorite traditions. Ry deeply cherished her relationship with Mrs. Libby and the close friendships she shared with Morgan, Queen, Maggie, Ella, and Nora.

John 11:25–26

"Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.'"

Ryleigh is survived by her loving parents, Adam and Brandie Rand; her siblings, Ayden, Ryan, Carter, Delia, Sophia, Bentley, Aryah, Matthew, and Annie. Her grandparents, Bruce "Papa" and Barbie "Grammy" Walker, Gary "Grampy" Deschaine, Melanie "Grandma" Boyd, and Darlene "Mimi" Chase.

Greeted in Heaven by Vickie Deschaine "Meme", Pauline Walker "Grammy Maine", and Rhonda Churchill "Oma".

Ryleigh's laughter, kindness, and presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 13, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Pathway Vineyard Church, located at 12 Foss Road, Lewiston, Maine 04240. The family invites family and friends to wear yellow or purple to honor Ryleigh.
