Biography:

Monique J. Lessard, age 70, of Lewiston passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Friday, February 6th, 2026 surrounded by family. She was born in Lisbon, ME on July 10, 1955, and graduated from Jay High School in 1973.

She was predeceased by her parents Harvey (2000) and Pauline (2001) Lessard and her long-time partner Linda Cote (2000).

Recently retired, “Moe” enjoyed watching sports especially the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots. She loved playing cards with her dear friend Margie Ouellette and meeting up for lunch with her good friend Mariellen House. She was known for her quick wit and humor, her fierce independence, her love of camp fires, crafty home projects, long car rides, all things Halloween and most of all, family get-togethers.

She is survived by her five siblings Dianne and husband, Bryan Daniel, of North Carolina, David Lessard and his husband Ken Esteb of Florida, Daniel and wife Sherry Lessard of Lewiston, Mike Lessard of Lewiston and Ann Lessard and partner Heather Brooks of South Portland. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
