David Godbout

Biography:

 David Godbout passed away on May 3, 2025 at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born on June 6, 1958 in Augusta, Maine to Alfred Godbout and Regina Prescott.

David was the love of my life. He worked at Joseph Kirschner until they closed in 2004.

He fought a hard battle with cancer. He was on chemotherapy and the cancer returned and he was on immunotherapy. He had a bad reaction, and it killed him.

He also worked as a transit driver at KVCAP, he enjoyed working with his clients and went out of his way to do things for them.

David loved going to yard sales, antique shops, and riding around. He wanted to buy a boat so we could go fishing. He had just got his real ID, and we had planned to go on a trip.

He was predeceased by his only son, Brian Godbout, as well as his parents Alfred and Regina Godbout.

David is survived by his wife, Lois Godbout, his sister Rita Johnson, niece Karen Yager, stepson Bernard B Cole II, and many cousins.

I will miss you David until we meet again in Heaven.

There will be no funeral services at this time.
