Biography:

Shelley Ann Francis, age 53, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, in Lewiston, Maine. She was born on April 24, 1972, in Lewiston, Maine. Shelley was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her family was the center of her world and she took great pride in the lives of those she loved. She will be remembered for her strength, warmth and the deep unconditional love she had for her family.

She had a heart that welcomed everyone and a spirit that lifted those around her. She had a truly magical embrace. Her strength carried her through life's hardest moments and her faith in God never wavered. Shelley loved her morning coffee and watching the rising sun. She found peace at the ocean and beach and joy in going to concerts with friends.

She was predeceased by her beloved son, Ryan-Eric Richardson, and her mother, Catherine Carney.

Shelley is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Langlois and her husband Shawn Langlois; her cherished grandchildren, Niomi, Lyla, Eric, Adalynn, Gemiana, Rhyann and Skylar; her father, Lon Francis, and his wife (Beth) Joan Francis; her brother, Kevin Francis and his wife Angela; her sisters, Candace Desrosier and husband George Desrosier, Wendy Carney, Angela Conway and husband Patrick Conway as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews: Katie Wing, Troy Littlefield, Alex Wing, Dylan Wing, Angelica Smith, Dylan Pomerleau, Justin Pomerleau, Alivia Conway, Angelina Conway, Patrick Conway, Allie Conway, Conor Francis and Noah Francis.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 7, 2026, at East Auburn Baptist Church, 560 Park Avenue Auburn, Maine. Service will begin at 11 am.

Shelley was a bright light and would not want those she loved to be sad. In her remembrance, the family asks that attendees wear a splash of color to celebrate her beautiful life.
