Robert A. Ecker

Biography:

Robert A Ecker, 61, of Lewiston, Maine, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on July 12, 2025, surrounded by his family.  He was born on April 28, 1964 in Lewiston, to the late Donald E. Ecker and Jacqueline P. Ouellette.

He attended Lewiston schools, and worked at the former Goodman Wiper and Paper for many years.  He enjoyed spending time with all his family and friends.  He especially adored his time with his grandson.  He was an avid fan of NE sports, NASCAR, camping and shooting.  In earlier years, Bob accepted the Lord Jesus as his Savior and served in ministry at the former Auburn Baptist Church, and loved to help teach children, work the bus ministry and puppet ministry.

He was predeceased by his parents, a sister Debbie and a brother Danny, and his former wife Ginny Smith of Lewiston.  He is survived by his former wife Jerri-Ann Minoty of Greene, a son Benjamin Minoty of Greene, a step son Michael Foss of Lewiston, a sister Lisa Dow and her husband Butch of Sabattus.  Also surviving are 3 brothers, Steven Ecker and wife Lisa of Morrisville, Vermont, Thomas Ecker and wife Rhonda of Lewiston, and John Ouellette and wife Francine of Lewiston, along with several nieces and nephews, and his grandson Ezra.  A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 8 at Marston's Corner Baptist Church, 752 Beech Hill Road, Auburn at 5 p.m. with a service to follow at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to donate monetarily to help defer the funeral and memorial costs.
