quickly to Mitch’s large family and became great friends with many of his sisters. Carrie and Mitch traveled to various places including Mexico, Oregon and Florida. Their home became the central
gathering point for all of their families, often hosting bbq’s, bonfires, holiday get-togethers and just simple visits.
Carrie enjoyed quilting and everything about quilting. She looked forward to “shop hopping” with her sister in laws to buy new fabric and patterns for the many quilts she made. She also loved hot air
balloons and was able to take flight in the 2009 LA Balloon Festival, a highlight of her life. She collected ceramic hot air balloons and clowns to display throughout the house. She leaves behind her
big orange cat, Richard Parker, who she doted on like no other.
