Growing up Donna loved camping with her parents and siblings. They were quite the crew as the campground would alert all that the Millikens were coming. Additionally, her aunts and uncles all played instruments so there was always a stage for music, singing and dancing. Donna could not resist the music bug and picked up playing the trumpet in her childhood. She was always busy and learned to cook at a young age from her mother.
Later in life she also enjoyed bowling and golf with Paul and the boys or crafting with her sisters. The house was always busy with plenty of food, sports on TV and cards being played. Donna and Paul always had an on-going Scrabble game with Kevin taking Paul's place when he passed - she loved to stay active! Additionally, Donna and Paul had a standing Friday double deck pinochle game with their best friends Barry and Lorraine White with conversations usually trumping playing cards.
She was a very hard worker and retired from GE in 2005 after working at Knapp Shoe for many years as well. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 10 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Cemetery Chapel.
Join us for a celebration of life at Marco's after the ceremony.
