Dear Betty,

We send our sympathy and our empathy for your lost of your life partner - 71 years is a very long time to be married. And you were a team, it seemed, on the same page about life and important directions you took together or in tandem. We can only imagine how difficult this is for you, but perhaps knowing that Connie is in a better place after failing health and mobility, is also a blessing.
Thank you for all you did to educate our two kids, Windi and Sean, as well as to attend my class at Midcoast Senior College. We are so sorry to have learned about Connie to late to attend his service. We send our best wishes and sympathy to you and the family. PS We were also happy to see Lolly and Jim Allen in the guestbook - so important to us when Windi was in nursery school.
