Dear Peter, Mark and Rebecca,

My heartfelt condolences to you and all of your family in your loss. Jackie was a remarkable and caring woman. She always had a story for me, and she always had something proud to say about her family. Her love for all of you was evident every single day.

I surely do miss her - it's just not the same without her here. I pray you will be comforted and warmed by many happy memories and in knowing how very much she loved you.

It is Monday night and I just heard that my friend Jackie passed away last Friday. I am so sorry for her family and the many people who knew and loved her!
I have known Jackie for so many years I have lost count. What a blessing she has been to all the members of First Parish Church from the time she and John came to Brunswick to take over pastoral duties at First Parish.
They spent time with my daughter and showed her love and caring! John even took her to Father Daughter dances! I'm sure that was Jackies idea!!
Rest well Jackie! Someday we will meet again beside God in Heaven!

To the children of Jacqueline Wild - I remember your mother from my childhood and teenage years, Junior Choir and attending classes for confirmation at First Parish Church. I can still picture her sitting in the front pew of the church every Sunday morning. I admired your mother greatly - she was a great lady who I know you are going to miss terribly. Sympathies to her children and her grandchildren who I know she loved and cherished.

Jacquie was a welcoming presence when Mike (Steitzer) and I move to Maine and First Parish become our spiritual and church home many years ago, and where we raised our own family. Jacquie's indomitable presence and interest in others has left a legacy in my own life and that of so many others that she has touched. I'm not sure I could have managed learning how to plan and put on a Bean Supper without her advice and guidance, and she was always available and always a resource for anything that needed to be done.
