I just heard of Mark's passing. I am so saddened by your loss. I met him through TSC and we had our issues since I was from the "old team", but I always respected him. He seemed genuine. I will never forget his accent and his sense of humor. May he rest easy and his family find peace.

My heart goes out to Bev and her children and grandchildren. Knowing Mark as I did this is truly a devastating loss to them and all that knew him. He was a true friend and like a brother to me. I'm sad knowing he fought a good fight to live, however, God decided he needed to come home. Bev, I miss and love you. Time separates us, however, I still think and care for you. I know the Lord will bless and keep you in his loving arms as you walk this path before you. Michelle

I knew Mark as a teenager where he grew up in Snellville Georgia. He was a fine young man even then. He was active in Snellville United Methodist Church. My condolences to his entire family in the passing of such a wonderful father, husband, father-in-law, grandfather and uncle. May your precious memories give you solace as you live from day to day.

I was stunned to hear about your husband’s passing. He had been a good friend to me for the past year and a half. He was always so kind and happy, and so helpful to anyone who needed advice and guidance. He was a good man who loved his family very much. I am very honored to have had him in my life as a friend. I am very blessed to have known your husband. He was one of the best people I’ve ever met. A devoted husband, a loving dad, and a true friend. I will miss him very much. My love and prayers go out to you are with you and your family at this very sad and difficult time.

Interesting how we remember certain people and when I heard of Mark's passing, his image from 1981 in VP-44 immediately came to mind...young round-face airframer. It was an honor to have served with him. The obit I read about his character fits him to a tee in my memory of Mark. I am extremely happy that he was successful in his career and especially in family life. He will be missed greatly but there is comfort to know he will be with his God showing him the ways of the heavenly woods. Peace be with him and his dear family.
