My condolences to Erik’s family and friends.
As an employee of the IBM Corporation, I had several opportunities to work with Erik in the early days of computing, when he was a technician. His calm demeanor and trouble shooting skills were the best I have ever seen. I also remember him building a personal computer in a time when most people didn’t know what they were. Farewell, Erik.
