March 20, 2022 | William & Janice - LEWISTON, ME -- United States

We want to offer our heartfelt sympathy to Darlene, the children and all the family of Gary. Words never seem enough somehow when we lose someone we love, but we want you all to know that our hearts are sad for you all in this time of sorrow. What a wonderful life, full of adventure & love that Gary & you all had while he was with you here on Earth. Cherish all those wonderful memories, but most of all, continue to live life to the fullest, every second of every day. We know that is what Gary would want you to do!!! God Bless & keep you all in his care. Bill & Janice

March 18, 2022 | Ed & Tonia Gilkey - Bangor, ME -- USA

Gary was a man for all seasons with many talents. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall he had activities to cover it all. Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Snowmobiling, ATVing, Story Telling, Farming, Maple Syruping, Furniture Making and Alaska Lumberjacking. If it had an “ing” in it, Gary could do it. Beside the many memories living on, Gary leaves us all “miss-ing” him. Our deepest sympathy to Darlene and family. He will always be in your hearts.

Dearest Darlene and family I am so sorry to hear the passing of your husband Gary who threw the words of this beautiful life summary made me almost get to know him. He sounds like such a spectacular person! I am in so much over how he grabbed Life by the collar and he took it for all it was worth! I'm sure he couldn't have had a more devoted and loving and beautiful wife than you Darlene. Although we rarely see one another I want you to know that you have always been my one of my favorite childhood memories of spending time with Uncle Eddie and Auntie Katie and all of the daily cousins up in dixfield. I only wish that you would come up to Enfield someday and visit your old cousin you're always welcome I send this with great sympathy and much love your cousin "cathy"

When somebody dies, a cloud turns into an Angel & Flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow. A bird gives the message back to the world & signs a silent prayer that makes the rain cry. People disappear, but they never really go away. The spirits up there put the sun to bed, wake up the grass, and spin the earth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during the daytime when they’re supposed to be sleeping. They paint the rainbows and also the sunsets and make waves splash and tug at the tide. They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes. And when they sing windsongs, they whisper to us, Don’t miss me too much. The view is nice, and I’m doing just fine”💫🌟Ashley Rice

I have many fond memories of Gary, he was always willing to help even if it was just guidance and kind words. He was a good man and will be missed for sure. Rest in Peace Gary, another good soul taken way too soon.
