We are so sad to just learn of Barbara’s passing. We were ‘summer’ friends, friends of Dan Hole Pond, where we would connect to walk, pick blueberries, and talk about books, music, the environment, and many other ideas. We will most certainly miss her lively spirit.

Although I only knew and worked with Barbara as a volunteer for a few years, I will miss her good ideas and willingness to pitch in. Deepest condolences to her family. She will be sadly missed in wide, overlapping circles of the community.

Dear Sherren and Cathy and family,

Our families shared happy memories at Dan Hole Pond: raucous bingo games, potluck meals, book discussions, visits on the porch, produce from Barbara's abundant garden, tea and chocolate chip cookies, shuffleboard games. I admired Barbara's strength as she hiked, rowed, gardened, endlessly baked for others, contributed her energy and skills to DHPWST and other local organizations. Her enthusiasm and loyalty to the church choir and tales of her overseas travel showed her deep enjoyment of life.

I'll miss Barbara's presence and will remember the excellent photo of her.

Please know that Barbara will be missed. I joined the choir in 2005 and have gotten to know Barbara since then. She was a loyal choir member/librarian and I became very fond of her.

I send sincere condolences to her extended family.
