Wilfred Ayotte

Wilfred Ayotte obit picWilfred Ayotte, 83, of Auburn, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026, at the Andwell Hospice House in Auburn, with his loving family by his side.

He was born on September 7th, 1942, in Lewiston. The son of Fernand Ayotte Sr and Martha Ayotte.

Willie worked for Falcon Shoe in the lasting department for over twenty plus years. Moving on to be the maintenance supervisor for the Auburn Mall Apartments for several years. After three attempts he finally retired at age 80 from custodial work with the Lewiston school department.

He had a soft heart for animals, a great sense of humor, a "go with the flow" kind of guy. He loved breakfast Saturdays with his girls, camping with his family and friends at Range Pond Campground, riding his scooter and doing some archery for sport. His all time favorite enjoyment was roller skating at Auburn Rollodrome. His interest began when he was a floor attendant in his early years, he had skated well into his 70's on Thursday nights for oldies night.

He is survived by his wife Beth and his two daughters Kim Teehan (Jim) and Trena Dubois (Dave). Stepchildren Charlie Lacasse and Julie Lacasse-Kreamer. Grandchildren Stephanie and Matthew. Great grandchildren Cambria, Cole, and Lennon.

Predeceased by his parents, and two brothers John Ayotte and  Fernand Ayotte Jr. Niece Christy Ayotte and grandnephew Anthony (Tony) Ayotte.

A celebration of life will be held on May 30th 10am-12pm at Auburn Rollodrome. Come skate in memory of Willie.
