Thomas B. Glazier

February 1, 1937-August 1, 2026

Thomas B. Glazier, 89, passed away peacefully at home on August 1, 2026, after a four-year battle with cancer. His loving wife, Ruth Michaud Glazier, was by his side.

Tom is survived by his wife, Ruth; his daughter, Tammi Glazier, and her husband, Dan Pelletier; his son, Thomas Glazier II; his stepdaughters, Barbara Gardner and Carol Dove; his sister, Julie Glazier; and his bonus children, Joseph Michaud and his wife, Denise; Ann Michaud; Catherina Blais and her husband, Keith; Patty Tufts and her husband, Bruce; and William Michaud and his wife, Joyce. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom loved him dearly.

Tom was predeceased by his first wife, Cora (Kimball) Glazier, mother of Tammi and Thomas; his second wife, Roberta (Miller) Glazier, mother of Barbara and Carol; his parents, Wellington and Julia Glazier; his sister, Anne Marr; and his bonus son, Larry Michaud, husband of Ann Michaud.

Tom proudly served in the United States Navy as a Petty Officer Second Class from 1956 to 1959. He later worked for many years as a pipefitter and welder with the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 783. After retiring, he built a home in Vassalboro and then worked for 19 years as a driver for O'Connor's.

Tom loved hunting and fishing and was always happy to remind everyone that he was an "ace shot." More than anything, he loved spending time with his family.

The family would like to thank the V.A., Andwell, and everyone who offered their care, prayers, and support during Tom's illness.

Tom was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
