After 80 remarkable years, Patricia H. Turcotte, of Lewiston Maine, closed her eyes for the final time April 20, 2026 following a devastating illness.

Patti was born, Patricia Marie Harding, in Lewiston Maine on October 3, 1945 as the youngest daughter to the late Kedric and Frances Harding.

Mrs. Turcotte attended the Lewiston public school system and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1963. She joined the workforce after high school and worked as a bank teller with North East Bank, worked at New England Telephone as an operator/supervisor for a time, became a school bus driver for Hudson Bus lines, and then spent the rest of her employed days as an aide in the Lewiston school department; most notably at Montello School.

Patricia participated earnestly in the lives and activities of her family. She took part in activities with her children like Cub scouts, Soccer, attended chorus concerts, and was heavily involved in the sport of swimming along with her three children. She dedicated over 16 years to the sport of swimming to support her children during which she became a certified swim official and even coached a team for a summer.

In her most recent days, Patti took to journaling her thoughts and also created detailed journals of the many trips she would take with her husband, Ray. She also was quite a foodie and appreciated meals at various restaurants with her husband and beloved friends. Patti also had a strong passion and a particular fondness for card games and board games with her family and dearest friends.

 

In addition to her parents, Patti was predeceased by her eldest sister Audrey Murphy of Kennebunk, her sister Elaine Therrien of Unity, as well as her niece, Shannon Murphy of Kennebunk.

 

Patti leaves behind a legacy of family and loving friends. She is survived by her loving and adoring husband of 61 years, Raynard A. Turcotte of Lewiston. Survived also by her sister Alice Labreque of West Falmouth. Patti also is survived by her three children: Timothy Turcotte and his wife Cindy, of Mechanic Falls Jessica Pridham and her husband Jason of Rowlett, Texas Katherine Tucotte and her partner Kyle Woodard of Sangerville Patricia’s SEVEN grandchildren: Aviation Electrician Petty Officer First Class Tiffany Kalz and her husband Aviation Electrician Petty Officer First Class Kevin Kalz currently serving in the USNAVY and Kevin’s son, Jackson, all of Norfolk, Virginia Cyrus Turcotte of Arroio do Meio, Brazil Connor Turcotte of Mechanic Falls Perrin Aube and his partner Brianna Bussaglia of Franklin, Massachusetts Quinn Aube and his partner Emma Myers of Watertown, Massachusetts Katelyn Fairbrother and her partner Seth Kolreg of Auburn Serena Yates of Sangerville.

 

Patti was a loving mother and grandmother and is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and numerous great friends.

 

Patti’s love was the emotional anchor of a life well-lived, found in a lifelong marriage, a dedication to family and devoted friendships that all pay tribute to her honored memory.
