Sabattus – Marcel A. Goyette, 91, of Sabattus died on August 23, 2026 at his home. He was born on April 20, 1935 a son of Luke and Germaine (Cailler) Goyette.
Marcel worked for Knapp Shoe and Sam’s Bakery until his retirement. He enjoyed walking the neighborhood, frequently visiting SHOP and Main St. market to socialize. He liked playing cards and telling his story of being in the US Army with Elvis Presley.
Marcel is survived by his daughters Kim Reny, Karen Brochu and her husband Steve and by his son Paul Goyette as well as by 2 brothers, Raymond Goyette and wife Pauline, as well as Bertrand Goyette and wife Sally and 1 sister Jeannie Berube. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Some of his most special moments were with Emerson, LJ, Maddox and Jack.
Marcel was predeceased by his wife Irene Goyette and several brothers and sisters.
