Lorraine M. Gilmore of Greene, ME passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on January 26, 2026 after a brief illness.
She was born on September 19 1936 in Van Buren, ME the daughter of the late Willie and Alice (Roi) Parent. She married Earle Gilmore on July 7, 1973 and enjoyed 53 years together. She was a bookkeeper before retiring. Then became a stay at home wife. She loved her home in Greene, she enjoyed homemaking, decorating, and gardening among other creative interests. She is survived by her husband Earle Gilmore, Step-daughter Tammy Hart and husband John as well as many nieces and nephews.
A small gathering at Valley Cemetery in Greene, ME will be held on 5/9/26 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local food bank in Lorraine s memory.
