Joanne B. Morse, age 84 Passed away on Aug. 12.2026. She was married to her devoted husband Lester R. Morse Sr. of Wiscasset tor 64 years. She was born on Sept. 6, 1942 in Cutler, Maine to Clarence and Myra (Huntley) Harmon.
Joanne will always be remembered for the Godly woman She was, and the devoted loving Wife, and a wonderful loving mother to her three children.
She will be missed by all of her grandchildren that she absolutely adored and loved being their Mamie. She will be missed by all her friends and family. For her kindness, her humor, and her warm giving heart and her quiet strength. She was a true example of a Godly Christian Woman.
A celebration of life will be held on September 19,2026 at Woolwich Wiscasset Baptist Church at 1:00 pm with a fellowship and food after. At a later date (TBD) a graveside service will be held at the Jacksonville Cemetery in East Machias, ME. Where friends and family can attend from that area.
Her family is very blessed by all of the kindness and support everyone has shown them during this difficult time. Joanne is now resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ until we see her again in Heaven.
